 P.S.C.
Group Co., Ltd. is a group of businesses that
produce starch products and various sizes of steel drums. Our
group consists of four major companies as follows :
Prasertchai (Seng Heng) Co., Ltd.
was
established in 1949 by Mr. Pornchai Sereethoranakul, a
Chinese language teacher, who was interested in the invention
of starch products. At
that time, the company's major products were Liquid Glucose,
Dextrose Solution, Dextrose Monohydrate,
Dextrose Anhydrous, and D-Sorbitol Solution and its primary
location was on Sukhumvit road, Bangkok. In
1967, due to the expansion of our production line and the growth
of domestic demand, Prasertchai (Seng Heng)'s first factory
was moved to new location in Samutprakarn province.
In 1982, Prasertchai (Seng Heng) Co., Ltd.
faced problems about the shortage of steel drums that store
company's main products, such as Liquid Glucose and Dextrose
Solution,
our management had considered to set up the second company :
P.S.C. Steeldrums Co., Ltd.
This new company had been started up in 1984. Its
main production is steel drum ranged frome size 37 litres to
200 litres for storing food, chemical, and pharmaceutical products. In
addition, P.S.C. Steeldrums' technologies and machines were
supplied from a well-know Japanese company: Yamamoto
Industries Co., Ltd. However, due to the rapid development
of various sectors in Thailand, P.S.C.
Steeldrums Co., Ltd. could not supply enough steel drums into
the market.
P.S.C. Recondrums Co., Ltd.
The third company, P.S.C.
Recondrums, was established in 1995 and locates in Bang poo
Industrial Estate (Samutprakarn). It
assembles reconditioned steel drums and new second-grade steel
drums that can contain a range of liquid and solid products.
